From the early 1930's Will Rogers was the most popular and highest paid actor in Hollywood. During the 1920s he bought 186 acres of what is now known as Pacific Palisades where he developed a ranch. The ranch house and stables are located at Will Rogers State Park. You can frequently watch the horses here, or see an occasional deer and other animals. Tours of the house are led by docents every hour.

Parking at Will Rogers Park costs $12 a car. There is some street parking, but it is far away, and very limited.
