Easy 3 mi, 500’ gain stroll in Whitney Cyn Park on the Rim of the Valley Corridor along the north slope of the San
Gabriel Mts. This quiet park provides an excellent example of oak woodlands and chaparral and riparian vegetation.
Meet 9 am at the S end of Newhall Ave in Santa Clarita (5 Fwy N to 14 Fwy, 1st exit Newhall Ave, R to carpool area).
Bring water and snack. All minors need to be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
