O: Stroll in Lower Arroyo Seco What's a riparian habitat? Come check it out. Easy 3 mi round trip hike on level trails along Pasadena's Arroyo Seco. Check out the watershed and learn natural and human history of the Arroyo and programs to restore streamside habitats. Meet 10:30am??? at trailhead next to San Pasqual Stables on S Pasadena border (Pasadena Fwy at Orange Grove Blvd, S to Mission Blvd, W on Mission to end, descent Stoney Dr into Arroyo and follow it under Fwy past playing fields to end at San Pasqual Ave, R to stables parking lot). Kids are welcome as well as stroller babies. All minors need to be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Bring hiking boots or good walking shoes, hat, sunscreen, sunglasses, water, lunch.
