Join us on this 5 mile roundtrip 900’ elevation gain hike to what John Robinson calls “The most spectacular falls in the range”. We have received special permission from Vulcan Materials to go through their property to the start of the hike thereby cutting 3 ½ miles of switchbacks and 2300’ of climbing off before we even start! Bring hiking style boots, lunch, and water. Hopefully with the recent heavy rains the falls will be spectacular! There is also a good chance of the trail being damaged so please plan on being flexible if we have to go around some obstacles or maybe even not being able to get to the falls. There is one stream crossing. Meet 9:45 AM at Azusa Rock site. 210 Frwy. Exit and go North on Iwindale Ave (towards the mountains). (1st exit east of 605 fwy on the 210) (fast food and gas available here). Left Foothill Blvd. You will cross the San Gabriel River then turn right Encanto Pkwy. Vulcan’s Azusa Rock site is located at 3901 Fish Canyon Road in Duarte at the end of Encanto Pkwy. All minors should be accompanied by parent or legal guardian. Bring hiking shoes, food Leaders Silvia Darie and Jeff Wilson
Hike is sponsored by the Crescenta Valley Group of the Sierra Club and Little Hikers/Junior Explorers. Sierra Club requires all participants sign a liability waiver.

Please let us know if we should be looking for you.
