The subtropical rainforest on the CSUN campus, an example of sustainable green energy, was the first of its kind at a university in the US. Let's go check this and some of the other green features of this campus in an evening walk. Meet at CSUN sign at corner of Zelzah and Nordoff at 6:15pm. There is parking on streets nearby, but please respect the parking signs. Kids could be on bikes (with helmets), adults on foot. Walk for about 1 hour -1.5 hours, Pretty flat, mostly on pavement. We will stop by the duckies and the turtles too. Bring walking shoes, water, a snack. All minors need to be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian ( or adult with written permission from parent). All participants need to sign a Sierra Club liability waiver. If you are getting there late, no worries. Just let us know before and we will direct you to the group.
