As a wildlife sanctuary, Thomas F. Riley Wilderness Park is home to an abundant number of native plants and animal life. Old groves of Western Sycamores and Coast Live Oaks border the park's two seasonally flowing creeks. The remaining land features rolling hills and canyons of Coastal Sage Scrub and grasslands.

Moderately paced 3 mi rt, 200ft gain. Hike with us through the valleys and ridges of this wilderness park in the foothills of the Santa Ana Mtns. Children 5 yrs and up with parent(s) are welcome. Meet 9 am at parking lot in the Park at East end of Oso Parkway. Bring water, munchies, sturdy shoes. $3 pkg fee. Rain/recent rain cancels.

Sierra Club requires all participants sign a liability waiver.
