O: Removal of invasive species and trail maintainance at Rosemont Preserve May 4, 2013 9am to 11am.

Come help the Friends of Rosemont Preserve with habitat restoration in this newly acquired wilderness area in La Crescenta. Today we will be doing removal of invasive species and trail maintanance. Learn about native species.

Bring water, work gloves, wear sturdy shoes and long pants. Bring clippers and loppers if you have them. Youths are welcome if accompanied by parents or legal guardians. Short hike involved, less than 1 mile, 100 foot gain.

The Preserve is located at the north end of Rosemont Avenue, just past the chain link fence. Since street parking is limited, park at Two Strike Park. Meet us there at 9am.
