Highlights will be viewing many hundreds of elephant seals with newborn pups at Pt Piedras Blancas, and thousands of wintering Monarch butterflies hanging on trees at Pismo Beach. We may also observe migratory birds from the Elfin Forest Boardwalk, explore tidepools at Montana de Oro State Park, walk along the Morro Bay sandspit, or hike among the Morros, which are ?sisters? to Morro Rock. Cook at the campground or explore the many excellent nearby restaurants within 2 mi. There are many moderately-priced motels in Morro Bay for those who don?t wish to camp.
