O: Little Hikers in the Mountains: A wintertime 1-2 mi, 400’ gain walk in Icehouse Canyon, then an optional stop at Harwood Lodge for Sierra Club members and guests ($5 day use fee. Harwood information in the Schedule) to enjoy the festive decorations and hot chocolate provided by the leader. Supervised children and adults welcome. Meet 8:30am North Orange County rideshare pt or 9:30am Mt. Baldy rideshare pt. Wear warm clothes, sturdy shoes; bring water and lunch. We will make a stop near Baldy Village to see a reconstructed Tongva shelter and to buy an Adventure Pass (USFS parking Pass.) Heavy snow within 2 days or rain cancels.
