O: Hurkey Creek Carcamp: Get away from the heat and smog at the Hurkey Creek Campsite near the beautiful resort of Idyllwild in the San Jacinto Mtns. Hike the challenging local trails, go into town for shopping or simply chill out in the clean fresh air. Jeffrey pines and poplar trees are everywhere. A gurgling brook runs through the campsite. Coyotes howl at night, frogs in the creek croak, and if you are lucky you may see a family of skunks! Sat Happy Hour followed by a delicious International Potluck Dinner.
