O: Green Valley Family Carcamp: Located at an altitude
of 7,000’, Green Valley is located between Lake Arrowhead
and Big Bear, and surrounded by national forest on all sides.
There is trout fishing in Green Valley Lake, and the area
is full of both strenuous and short hiking trails, bird- watching/wildflower observing nature trails, and bike
trails. Children are welcome. They will enjoy swimming off the small Green Valley Lake beach. On Saturday there will be a long hike of 5-6 mi; on Saturday night we will have a Happy Hour followed by an international potluck dinner. On Sunday morning we will hike along the nature trails.
